Bone and hide glue also offer high strength,\n good low-pressure gap-filling ability, high initial tack, and fast cure. Forget their reputation for being smelly and messy; held at the proper temperature in an electric glue pot, hide glue stays ready to\n use all day with minimal attention, as opposed to the noxious fumes and short pot life of other adhesives.  Choose bone glue for a rigid bond; rabbit skin glue for elasticity.
