The legs bear on your material on both sides of the cut, with the body of the jig acting as a tunnel over the blade as protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA large push handle keeps your hand well above blade. For ripping strips with little material situated on the outside of the blade, a balance support fence keeps the Micro Jig GRR-Ripper level and steady.
