The sharp teeth are medium coarse for efficient stock removal, but won't give the deep furrowing commonly seem from the teeth of standard machine made rasps. Like Narex's hand cut rasps and rifflers, these rotary rasps have hand stitched teeth formed into the carbon steel bodies (RC 49) in a slightly irregular pattern.
