Here's how you use that for precise centering:\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003col\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Mount your bowl blank to a faceplate.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Turn the outside of the bowl, including the foot or tenon for chucking.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Using the Live Center adapter, attach a chuck or faceplate to the Live Center.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Move the tailstock (with the Live Center\/chuck assembly attached) up to the bowl and grab the foot or tenon on the bowl while it is still attached to the faceplate and lathe.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Remove the faceplate, bowl blank and chuck from the lathe.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n   \u003cli\u003e\n    Remove the faceplate from the bowl blank.\n   \u003c\/li\u003e\n  \u003c\/ol\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\n   The bowl is now precisely centered in the chuck.
