The poplar seat has been cut to shape and holes bored at the correct angles, requiring only final shaping and sanding. The oak bows have been steambent to shape. It's a great project for learning how to build a chair. This was an extremely popular chair, especially in New England, and remains far and away the most popular Windsor Chair design today.
