It bonds tenaciously\n to virtually any bare wood or finished surface; it dries very quickly, sands smooth with the greatest of\n ease, and since it contains no stearates it provides a reliable base for any kind of finish going on top.\n  Thinned with denatured alcohol (3 parts alcohol to 2 parts sealer), SealCoat works as an excellent\n pre-stain surface conditioner, reducing blotchiness and uneven penetration of pigment stains.  Use as a\n seal coat over water-based dyes that have no binder.
