It adds an adjustable dog to a workbench - allowing you to clamp your workpiece against one\n of your bench dogs. The clamping jaw of the inset vise has a 4\" range of travel, but the clamping capacity is limited only by the length of your bench\n and the placement of the dog holes. The vise slide has two mounting positions – 3-7\/8\" apart – for the vise jaw. This spacing gives full\n clamping coverage for dog holes up to 7-3\/4\" apart. When not is use, the vise jaw can be removed for a completely flat bench surface.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003ch5\u003e\n   Jaws\n  \u003c\/h5\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\n   The standard Inset Vise jaw is 1\/2\" tall x 1-3\/16\" wide. It can hold workpieces as thin\n as 1\/4\" and is especially useful when handplaning.\n  \u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003ch5\u003e\n   Installation\n  \u003c\/h5\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003e\n   The Inset Vise can be installed in any workbench that is at least 1-1\/4\" thick. you'll need enough room to make a mortise 10-3\/4\" long by 3\" wide\n by 29\/32\" deep.
