When you're marking with a pencil, however, accurate transfer is much more of a challenge, and that's where a good saddle square comes into its own. The 1-3\/8\" by 3-3\/8\" legs of this large aluminum square wrap right around 90° corners, letting you mark with a pencil nearly as precisely as with a knife.
