Based on Stanley's Yankee-type screwdrivers, these are the original portable power drivers. A simple push operates these drivers in forward or reverse, and you can lock the clutch for high-torque manual driving as well. Schroeder's Spiral Ratchet screwdrivers have a durable chrome finish and painted wood handles. When you're not using you spiral ratchet screwdriver you can lock it in the closed position to save space in your toolbox.

Size

Spiral Ratchet screwdrivers are available in two sizes.

• Compact drivers are 13" overall length and generate 2 full revolutions for each 3" stroke. Closed length is 9quot;. It is similar in size to the Stanley 135 Yankee drivers.
• Medium drivers are 19" overall length and generate 2-1/2 revolutions for each 5" stroke. Closed length is 12". It is similar in size to the Stanley 130 Yankee drivers.

• The Standard or Yankee-type driver uses traditional round shank bits with locking grooves like have been used in spiral ratchet drivers for many years.
• The compact size uses 5.5mm (7/32") diameter bits.
  It includes three driver bits: one 4.5mm slotted, one 5.5mm slotted & one Philips #1.
• The medium size uses 7mm (9/32") diameter bits.
  It includes three driver bits: one 5.5mm slotted, one 6.5mm slotted & one Philips #2.
