This silica gel canister prevents tools from rusting by removing moisture from the air inside toolboxes and drawers. The desiccant is neatly sealed inside a perforated aluminum container measuring only 2" x 4" x 1/2". Each unit protects up to 3 cubic feet of enclosed space, and can be used over and over again. When the indicator window turns pink, the hydrosorbent material is saturated. Reactivate the device by placing it in a 300° oven until the indicator turns blue (about 3 hours.) The inert material will not stain clothing, tools or finishes, and can be reused indefinitely.
