The Smart Vise is a good solution for any woodworker who needs a workbench, but doesn't have the space or budget for one. It has a 14-1/2" wide by 12" deep work surface with a front vise. It clamps to nearly any table or counter. This vise clearly won't replace a full size workbench (you won't be able to edge join or surface plane large boards), but it works great for small projects. Laminate on MDF work surface resists glue and spills.

The Smart Vise includes four birch bench dogs and comes in a box that can be used for storage or transport. Sjöbergs also offers cork jaw cushions to protect your workpiece (sold separately.)
