Sorby Chatter Tool Replacment Round/Hollow Cutter A sufficiently flexible tool, applied with moderate pressure to end grain, will bend and bounce off the wood, cutting intermittently and leaving a textured, patterned surface. Such vibrating cuts add a layer of rich detail upon close-up inspection of a turned object.
This cutter can be used as a replacement for your chatter tool or to create your own.
