Stairmaker's Rasp 10"
|
Highland Item # 124602
|
Detailed Description
Stairmaker's Rasp 10" What is a Stairmaker's Rasp? Cut the tang off a coarse half-round rasp. Now, wrap it around a post and you've got a stairmaker's rasp. It was traditionally used just prior to
scraping to fair together the inside sections of curved hand railings. Nearly elliptical in shape, this rasp has several radii for attacking various curves. We think it will solve numerous problems for you, some of which you have yet to face. Although machine-made, these rasps are much nicer than the more commonly available imported (Chinese?) ones. 10" long x 1" wide.
