Detailed Description
Super-Soft 2 Veneer Softener - Quart Veneer softener relaxes wavy veneers so they can be flattened and gluedwithout cracking or splitting. By spraying Super-Soft 2 on both sides ofthe veneer, it will temporarily plasticize the wood, making it more pliable.Once dry, the veneers are separated by several sheets of clean newsprint andpressed between two flat boards or plywood. A couple of cinder blocks ontop of the boards make a fine press. Super-Soft 2 can also be applied to the face side of the veneer to helpminimize curling when using water-based glue. Super-Soft 2 will not affectwood's ability to accept color or finish once it's dry, and is safe forburls and crotches. Includes a mister head for spraying. Use in a well ventilated area.
