Teaching Opportunities at Highland Woodworking
In 1980 Highland Woodworking began a weekend woodworking seminar program, bringing to Atlanta the likes of Tage Frid, Sam Maloof, Roy Underhill and Michael Dunbar to teach students interested in learning woodworking techniques. Thousands of woodworkers have spent weekends with Mark Duginske, Toshio Odate, Rude Osolnik, Dale Nish and Ernie Conover. Phil Lowe, Gary Rogowski, Curtis Buchanan, Bob Flexner and numerous other gifted teachers continue to appear regularly as part of our visiting faculty.
In 2000, Highland Woodworking took woodworking education to an exciting new level with construction of its Demo Shop. In this well-equipped model shop, participants receive intensive, hands-on training ranging from basic woodworking skills to the design and construction of major projects from popular instructors like Frank Bowers, Alan Noel, Jim Dillon and Sabiha Mujtaba.
As we extend our legacy in woodworking education, we're striving to continue bringing to Highland Woodworking diverse qualified instructors to teach seminars and workshops on relevant and interesting topics. If you share our joy of craftsmanship and passion for excellence and would like us to consider inviting you to teach one or more topics at Highland Woodworking, please:
