Wayne recommends ceramic sharpening stones for keeping your chip carving knives in perfect condition. These durable stones (each 1-3/4" x 4") can be used dry, requiring only occasional cleaning wih abrasive cleanser and a scouring pad. The medium grit 600 ceramic is the perfect stone to form the correct cutting angle on the Wayne Barton Premier set of knives. The ultra-fine 1800 grit stone polishes the blade to a razor sharp edge required for making clean, crisp cuts. Both will provide many years of service.
