Detailed Description
Whiteside Lock Miter Router Bit Lock Miter Joint A Lock Miter Bit produces an extremely strong 45° miter joint with an interlocking structure that provides a great deal of gluing surface. Proper setup of the cut is essential, and requires using a router table. One workpiece is run with the main surface flat on the table while the matching piece is run standing against the router fence. We provide instructions for setting up to cut a lock miter joint in this downloadable PDF. This bit must be used in a table-mounted, variable-speed router with a fence.
