Whiteside Point Cutting Roundover Router Bit

The Point Cutting Roundover bit is similar to the standard Roundover and the Plunge Cutting Roundover. It cuts a groove with a roundover profile on each side that meet at a point in the middle. It is used to create decorative grooves and beads in furniture, built-ins and MDF doors. Milling two grooves side by side creates a pleasing bead pattern to mimic beaded panels. The sharp point of this bit is very fragile. Use care when cutting to prevent breakage. It is best to remove the bulk of material first with another bit, such as a v-groove or take multiple passes to reach final depth.
