The Woodpeckers 1281 Precision Square

The Woodpeckers 1281 Precision Square is meticulously machined from a solid piece of stable cast aluminum tool plate to produce a single-piece square with a 12" blade and 8" handle, guaranteed to be accurate to within one thousandth of an inch or less along the full length of the tool.

Two additional pieces of precision-machined aluminum are added to form cheeks for the handle. They're attached with two stainless steel pins for perfect alignment.

The 1281 square is a pleasure to hold, and its design makes it extremely handy to use.

Features:

• The lip created by the cheeks allows the square to rest hands-free on the edge of a board, and the square will also stand securely on its 3/4" thick handle edge.


• A finger slot milled in the blade makes it easy to hold the square in place when checking square ends. A notch milled at the square's inside corner allows you to zero-out your layout lines all the way to the edge of a board.


• Easy to read measurement scales are laser etched in 1/16th inch increments on both sides of the blade.
