Here's My Woodworking!
By David Parker Mathews, VA

I've always liked woodworking but never had the time to do it until I retired. It has been a great hobby.
I enjoy woodturning the most as it allows me the freedom to make projects without restrictions, i.e. close measurements or dimensions. My goal for this summer was to make a segmented piece of over 1000 pieces, which you can see up top. The large vase has 1088 pieces consisting of walnut, red cedar, white oak, and beech wood. It stands 29" high with a diameter of 14".
The other pictures are of bowls, a queen storage bed, a coffee table, 3 night stands, and one of my lamps. These are just a few of my makings.
