Build a Tool Storage Box
with Jim Dillon
July 28, 2018

In Japanese Woodworking Tools, Toshio Odate describes a traditional toolbox used by Japanese carpenters to carry their tools to the jobsite and store them when not in use. In this class, you'll build a pine box inspired by Odate's design and take it home ready to use (or customize with your own internal dividers or tills). The class will focus on basic skills, like crosscutting, clamping, and boring and is suitable for beginning woodworkers.
