As the VCIs bond electrochemically to metal surfaces, they leave no build-up of oil or wax, nothing to contaminate your hands or work. This capsule protects an enclosed area within a radius of 2 feet for 1 year. It has a an adhesive backing so it can be affixed inside your storage container. Just mark the date installed in the space provided and you'll know when you need to replace it.
