Auriou files and rasps are handmade at the Forge de Saint Juéry, in France, by skilled craftsmen who have used the same traditional forging techniques for over 150 years.

 Auriou's Rasps are "hand stitched", one tooth at a time, producing an irregular pattern of carefully sized, triangular pointed teeth which prevents furrowing and provides a superior finish. Select artisan blacksmiths, grinders and stitchers are the heart of this small family business that has survived for generations, a testament to the high quality of their tools.
