Here's My Woodturning!

I've been turning for 17 years, in Wilbraham, MA. For the last 10 years in a 14x30' timber-framed "shack" that I built. Lots of windows for daylight, and a potbelly stove for the, um, "design changes" that didn't work out!

Here are some turned items that I've recently completed.

Manzanita Burl Lidded Box, turquoise inlay, Maple, Black Palm pull. 6-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches.

Red Mallee Burl Bowl, 15 x 12 inches. Natural edge rim, birdseyes.

Large Amherst Yew Bowl, 14-1/2 x 5 inches. From a Yew that, sadly, was
removed to make way for a new campus building in Amherst, MA.

Red Oak Burl Bowl - 13-1/4" diameter, with void, bark inclusions.

"The Bermuda Triangle", Dyed Boxelder Burl Hollow Vessel, 8-1/4 x 6 inches. Reminds me of scenes from space, looking down on the earth... atmosphere and ocean swirls. The dark triangular bark inclusion suggested the name.

Dyed Boxelder Burl Hollow Vessel, 5-1/2 x 9 inches.

Eastern Red Cedar Table Lamp - From a Cedar blown down by the June 1, 2011,
F3 tornado that ravaged Western Massachusetts.
