Here's My Woodcarving!

by Paul Wee
Collinsville, Oklahoma

I learned carving on bamboo and wood when I was a teenager. Although my passion for wood carving remained strong, the necessity of life took over and ! boxed up my tools for many years. 1 recently found those boxes after I retired, re-sharpened my tools and once again began carving anything and everything. This is a large Feather Box for storing PowWow Feathers (fans used in dancing). It is made with poplar, walnut, pine and maple, with cedar lining to keep feather eating bugs away.
