Safety Tip: The Running Bandsaw

I just read the safety tip on adjusting your bandsaw guide and it has reminded me of another incident some may be experiencing. I have a new Grizzly bandsaw and it runs so smooth that when you turn it off the blade still runs for awhile and you cannot tell it is moving. I am afraid if myself or someone else is not thinking they may get in the way of the blade and get hurt.

I am not only sending this out as a warning but also as a plea for any ideas how to maybe set up something to detect that it is still turning, such as a strobe light shining on the blade.
