The RIKON 30-230 17" Floor Drill Press is a full size floor model that is ideal for use by professionals or hobbyists. Whether you're working at home or in a commercial shop, you will appreciate the features and the quality of this tool that is built to last. The rugged design of its solid steel and cast iron construction contributes to vibration-free performance, helping to maintain accuracy and consistency under the most demanding conditions. It comes with a five year warranty. Consistent performance and efficient power is provided by a robust 1hp TEFC motor that offers 16 spindle speeds ranging from 220 to 3630 rpm. Large, comfortable cast iron feed handles will never bend or loosen during years of use. A clutch depth stop makes it a snap to quickly set the drill depth accurately for repetitive drilling operations. With a full 17" swing, drilling capacity is enhanced by a table that tilts 45 degrees in both direction and rotates 360 degrees around the column. At 14" x 14", the table includes slots for quick mounting of jigs, vises and fixtures. Table height is easily adjusted with a turn of a handle due to a smooth rack and pinion height adjustment mechanism.
