Scraping Tools

A well-sharpened scraper can cut your finishing time in half, doing the work of sandpaper from 60 to 150 grit. With a cabinet scraper, bare wood can be taken from thickness planer to fine sanding in one step, and finishes can be smoothed and flattened between coats more effectively than with the most sophisticated abrasives.
