The 30-100 drill press features five spindle speeds that allows you to vary the speed from 620 to 3100 rpm depending on the size of hole required and type of material your are drilling. Large holes drilled into harder materials require a lower speed while small holes in softer material such as wood can be drilled at higher speeds. The keyed chuck has a 1/2" capacity to accommodate a wide range of bits, from HSS for metal to brad points, spade bits and hole saws for wood. A depth stop with scale lets you set your drill depth accurately for repetitive hole drilling. A handy speed chart offers a guide as to what speed to drill depending on the material.
This compact drill press is constructed with heavy duty steel and cast iron durability and vibration free operation. It comes with a five year limited warranty.
