The AutoClean Dust Extractor is a CT 36 EI that is optimized for use with the Festool PLANEX Drywall Sanders . The name AutoClean refers to the integrated filter cleaner. It periodically knocks dust buildup off the filter. This keeps notoriously tenacious drywall dust from blocking the filters and restricting airflow. You can adjust the frequency of the AutoClean or turn it off completely.

The AutoClean comes with a lightweight, flexible 36mm hose specially designed for use with the Planex. It is kink resistant and anti-static to keep any drywall dust from clinging.

The CT 36 AutoClean Dust Extractor comes with HEPA filters. It's compliant with the latest requirements for the EPA Lead RRP rule * and silica dust collection (as defined by OSHA Table 1 * .)

The 9.5 gallon container rolls smoothly on large wheels, is nearly impossible to tip over and has locking wheels for stability. The self-cleaning disposable filter bag resists caking - maintaining maximum suction. The tool triggered switch with smooth start-up and shut off delay, and adjustable electronic suction control ensure that it completely removes the dust from the tool and hose. The quiet (72db) 10 amp motor creates an impressive 137 CFM and 96" of static pressure. The open top design includes hose and cord storage and a carrying handle. The top also includes locking latches to securely attach Festool Systainer® tool containers, keeping your power tools and accessories close at hand.

The CT 36 AutoClean will work with all Festool tools. However, you will need to purchase an additional hose to use it with tools other than the Planex Drywall sander.
