This is the Standard SawStop brake cartridge for 10" saw blades. It fits all current models models of SawStop table saws. It's useful to have a spare on hand in case the brake cartridge accidentally trips because the blade contacts metal or wet wood (or trips on purpose to save a finger!)
SawStop’s Brake Cartridge is integral to the tablesaw's automatic brake system, well known for its unique ability to instantly stop and retract the blade upon any contact between the saw blade and your skin, making it far and away the world's safest table saw.
Note: Current SawStop models use cartridges with blue tinted plastic cases and 9 pin connectors. If you have an older model with a clear case and a 15 pin connector, you will need a different cartridge - please call for details.
