Detailed Description
Critter Spray Gun
If you've always wanted to try spray finishing but were overwhelmed by the expense and the complicated options available, then the Critter Spray Gun is just for you. One of our employees who had never sprayed before refinished her kitchen cabinets with the Critter by spraying tinted, water-based acrylic and had amazing results.
The simplicity of the gun belies its excellent performance. The unit consists of a siphon gun that screws onto a standard 16 oz. Mason jar. It can be used with a compressor as small as 3/4 HP that produces 3 CFM @ 90 psi. The circular spray pattern ranges from 1/2" to 3-1/2". Raising or lowering the nozzle on top of the fluid tube easily adjusts the material flow.
The Critter is a snap to clean - simply fill another jar with the appropriate solvent, splash the liquid around, and spray it though the gun. Wipe off the liquid nozzle, lid and gasket, and you're done. The finish doesn't flow through the gun, so there are no tips or hoses to clog. Any unused finish can be stored in the Mason jar until your next use.
Thinning may be required for some paints and finishes, and we recommend straining all products prior to spraying. You won't be painting your house with the Critter, but it's ideal for small to medium projects.
The Critter Spray Gun comes with the siphon gun, 16 oz. glass Mason jar, jar gasket and instructions. Replacement parts available and sold separately.
