Detailed Description
Dust Separator Lid This lid fits atop the ubiquitous 30 gallon metal garbage can and gives chips and dust a chance to drop out of the airstream before they enter the filter bags. In other words, you've just made a two-stage system. Adding a 4" elbow (see below) on the inside of the lid inlet helps create a cyclonic flow inside the garbage can, so that all but the very finest dust drops into the can. The result: easier emptying, and more efficient dust collection since empty filter bags have a greater effective surface area. Works for 1 to 2 hp units.
