A well-made workbench is essential for any woodworker who wants to succeed using traditional hand tools. The benchtop needs to be flat and strong and supported by a sturdy base, and should be equipped to securely hold a variety of shapes and sizes of workpieces.

This workbench features an ample-sized top made of solid European beech, yet still occupies a compact footprint in your shop. The work top area measures 52-3/4" long x 19-11/16" wide, and the top thickness is 1-3/16" with a 3-1/2" high border apron all the way around. A double row of round dog holes runs along the bench's length to work with the tail vise as well as with the front vise. Dog holes on the front legs allow for extended support of awkward workpieces. Solid beech is laminated together in both length and width to craft the sturdy component parts of the bench.

Wooden jawed shoulder vises are 14-3/16" wide and have steel guide rods for rigidity. Comes complete with 4 round bench dogs and a convenient tool storage shelf that sits on top of the stretchers.

The workbench is manufactured by Ramia in the Czech Republic, and we are very impressed with its overall fit and finish. We believe it will help to inspire and enable quality woodworking in your workshop. Bench height is 33-7/16". Total weight is 104 lbs.

PLEASE NOTE: The included heavy duty bench dogs are NOT the style that recess below the bench top. When fully seated, the heads of the bench dogs sit 1" above the bench top. If you need bench dogs to be set lower than 1" above the bench top and/or need them to recess below the bench top, see the optional bench dogs listed below. Consider getting a pair of the 4-3/8" long dogs for use in the vise jaws and a pair of the 2-3/8" dogs for the holes in the bench top.
