Festool Bluetooth Remote Control for Dust Extractors

Festool's Bluetooth remote control system allows you to turn your Festool dust extractor on and off from the end of the hose. After installing* the receiver module in your CT 26, CT 36 or CT 48 dust extractor, you'll be able to turn it on and off via Bluetooth using the remote switch(included in the set) at the end of your hose or a a cordless tool with a Bluetooth enabled battery sold separately.) The system operates much like auto start feature that turns on your vac with a tool plugged in to it - just no plug.

Installation

The receiver unit installs* into the free module slot on your Festool CT 26, CT 36, CT 36 AC or CT 48 dust extractor. (The free module slot is that blank panel in between the speed control and the electrical outlet on the front of your vac.) Then, you just need to pair it with your switch or battery and you're ready to go.

Please Note: The Bluetooth remote system can't be installed in any other model of dust extractor.

The receiver is REQUIRED and is only included in the set. If you're getting started, you'll need the set.

* Installation is pretty simple, but we recommend you have this done by a qualified electrician.

Switch

The included remote switch straps onto your 27mm or 36mm hose, right where it's handy. The switch will even control the dust extractor when it's in AUTO mode - so it's easy to switch from tool operation to shop cleanup.

Batteries

Festool's cordless tools trigger the Bluetoooth dust extractor switch through Bluetooth-enabled batteries. Festool offers Bluetooth-enabled batteries for all of it's cordless tools, except the CXS and TXS drills. See below for compatible batteries.
