Detailed Description
Festool Dust Extractor Hoses
See our videos for more information on Festool Dust Extractor Hoses
Anti-Static Hose
Anti-static hose is resistant to clogging, shocks & dust buildup on the outside of the hose. Each hose includes a rotating connector at the dust extractor end and a reducing sleeve at the tool end.
(50mm hoses have rotating connectors at both ends.) 27mm & 36mm hoses have a woven sleeve over the outside of the hose to help the hose slide more easily over edges. This helps prevent damages to workpieces
and eliminates the annoying problem of un-sleeved hoses catching on the edge of guide rails. Festool dust extractors come with anti-static hoses as standard equipment.
Anti-Static hose is also available in a special heavy sleeved version. The cloth sleeve attaches the power cord to the hose and prevents the hose ribs from catching on or damaging your workpiece.
Sleeved hoses include a 16 AWG Plug-It cord.
Hose Compatibility
Festool Vacs
90°
The hose port on CT SYS and older models of the CT Mini & CT Midi Dust Extractors is inside the hose storage on top of the dust extractor. The standard equipment hose has a 90° fitting
so it will coil for storage. The CT SYS, CT Mini & CT Midi can use a hose with a straight fitting, but the hose won't coil properly for storage. Please Note: Starting in 2019 Festool changed to
straight fittings for the CT Mini I & CT Midi I dust extractors.
Straight
All other Festool Dust Extractors use a hose with a straight rotating fitting on the extractor end as the hose port is on the front of the extractor.
Non-Festool Vacs
Festool hoses will fit other manufacturer's vacs that have a 57mm (2-1/4") I.D. hose port. (Shop Vac, Fein, Mirka, Ridgid & others). They can be used to upgrade your non-Festool vac to fit Festool tools!
Hose Diameter
Festool's standard hoses come in three diameters – 27mm, 36mm & 50mm. Most Festool tools use a 27mm hose. The Kapex Miter Saw, TS 55 & TS 75 track saws can use either 27mm or 36mm hose. The HL 850 E Planer uses 36mm hose. You can also use 50mm hoses to extend other hoses. Other hose diameters are for specialty applications.

maintaining sufficient suction. This guide applied to Festool hoses sold before April 2018. Newer hoses can be connected together easily.
