General Finishes Enduro-Var Urethane Varnish

Solvent-based lacquers can have amazing luster & depth as finishes. Unfortunately they also have some real health & safety issues in their application. While finishing expert, Jeff Jewitt has yet to find a water-based finish to perfectly match a solvent lacquer, Jeff feels these water-based finishes from Enduro of General Finishes, give a very nice looking finish.

The Enduro-Var is a self-cross linking urethane that can be brushed or sprayed. It has a nice warm amber tone, reminiscent of old time varnishes & cures to be exceptionally water-resistant. 2 to 4 hours dry time. Coverage is 450 sq. ft. per gallon. Can be used over oil or water-based stains (we recommend to always test first). Clean up with soap & water.
