The Precision Router Lift replaces the standard insert plate (3/8" x 9-1/4" x 11-3/4") in most router tables with a heavy-duty anodized aluminum plate and carriage that fits 20+ popular router models without modification. Its tabletop-mounted crank allows the user to quickly raise and lower the router to replace bits, and its precision dial allows for micro-adjustments of routing depth down to thousandths of an inch. Once the depth of cut is set, the scale can be zeroed out at any point to allow for exact, repeatable cuts. One full revolution of the crank moves the router carriage exactly 1/16", while hash marks denote .002" increments.
