Leigh TD330 Through Dovetail Jig
The Leigh TD330 Through Dovetail Router Jig makes Leigh accuracy and convenience available to any woodworker at an affordable price.
It works either with your handheld router or with your router table, handling workpieces up to 12-7/8" wide and between 1/8" and 13/16" thick.
It can even be used to join boards with different thicknesses,
making this inexpensive, simple-to-use jig ideal for drawers, boxes and case goods of all kinds.
Leigh's exclusive and patented e10 adjustable elliptical guide bushing system allows you to dial in the perfect
accuracy needed for whatever job you have. Adjusting joinery settings to the sweet spot between
too tight and tool loose is as simple as turning a knob that adjusts the fit in units of .001".
The dovetail template and two side stops attach to a simple user-made beam of MDF or a common 2x4.
You will also need 2 quick grip clamps to attach the template to the beam.
Depending on your router model, you may need to provide a standard 1-3/8" guide bushing adapter.
The TD330 is designed for use by woodworkers of all levels. A fully illustrated User Guide is included.

Router Table Requirements
Router tables typically use a bearing or fence to guide the cut. However in the case of the Leigh TD330 jig used in a router table, an included guide bushing guides the cut,
so you will need to have a 1-3/8" diameter counter bore insert ring that fits in your table or router plate in order to mount the guide bushing.
Standard Equipment
- Jig Template
- Two Side Stops
- 1/2" (12.7mm) Straight Bit (1/2" shank)
- 1/2" (12.7mm) 8° Dovetail Bit (1/2" shank)
- e10 Elliptical Guide Bushing
- Illustrated User Guide
- Pin Wrench
- 9 Screws
(If the base on your router does not accept standard/universal style template guides, see Leigh's
Guidebush System Selection Chart to find an adapter for use on your router.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to use the TD330 Dovetail jig on a router table, your router table's plate (that your router attaches to) MUST have an opening or
a snap-in ring that is sized to accept a "universal" style template guide. (The universal-style template guide is based on the decades-old type guides made by
Porter Cable and Black and Decker). The opening should measure 1-3/8" in diameter, so it can accommodate Leigh's e10 guide bushing that comes with the TD330 jig.
NOTE:The RTJ400 jig is NOT compatible with the Bosch RA1181 and RA1171 Router Tables, because you cannot mount a universal style template guide into the tables.
The template guide mounting hole in your router table plate should look like this.
The template guide mounting hole in your router table should accept a template guide that looks like this (uses a threaded locking ring to hold the guide bushing into the router base).
