Briwax has been a popular choice here at the store for years now. It's especially recommended for cleaning, rejuvenating and polishing old finishes which are soiled, dried out, cracked or otherwise in need of more than a damp cloth—Briwax is a favorite of antique shops and repair specialists.

Apply a thin coating with a fine white Scotch-Brite pad or 4/0 steel wool, then buff to a pleasant sheen. Briwax is a blend of beeswax and carnauba with a toluene solvent; the solvent helps clean and even partially re-amalgamate old lacquer and shellac finishes, while the wax blend dries to a hard, durable film that protects against dust, fingerprints and spills. Briwax softens at warmer room temperatures; refrigeration restores it to its original waxy consistency.

Please Note: The Briwax formerly called Dark Oak is now called Mid-Brown
