Whiteside Router Bit Bearing Lock Collar

When you add a bearing to the shank of a router bit, you hold it in place with a bearing lock collar. The collar fits over the shank on top of the bearing and locks in place with a set screw.

Whiteside Machine Company was founded in 1970 in Bill Whiteside's basement where he supplied tooling to NC's huge furniture making industry. Whiteside is still family-owned but has now grown to occupy a 40,000 square foot factory in Claremont, NC.
