When it arrives, click on the link provided and watch the premiere episode of our new show, The Highland Woodworker, which will take you behind the scenes with woodworking legend Roy Underhill. The Highland Woodworker is a quarterly web-based woodworking magazine show produced in HD for woodworkers like yourself. Our host will be well-known chairmaker Charles Brock. Your free subscription will bring you stories and insights from your favorite woodworking gurus who will both inspire you give you ideas for improving your work. You'll also learn more about tools, supplies and resources that will help you become a better woodworker.

The Winter 2012 episode of The Highland Woodworker's "Moment with a Master" will take you to Roy Underhill's shop and home in Pittsboro, North Carolina for a look under his famous hat and an opportunity to find out some things you never knew about Roy. He'll share the secret that 30 years ago helped him persuade television executive to agree to begin producing "The Woodwright's Shop".

Another featured segment profiles how Whiteside Machine Company grew from its humble origins in a NC basement shop to become the maker of the World's #1 rated router bit, right here in America.

"Bert The Wood Expert" will tell you all you need to know about selecting walnut for your next project.

In this episode the "Toolbox" segment examines the many uses and styles of workbenches, and makes a case for the importance of a good workbench in your shop.

The "Big Finish" portion of the show will investigate a new wood finishing system that just might be perfect for your next project.
