ECE Fenced Plough Plane
ECE hand planes combine Emmerich's meticulous quality with the economy of traditional hammer-set irons secured with wooden wedges. Heavy irons are solidly bedded for smooth, clean performance. Bodies are dense European beech and soles are long-wearing hornbeam. As in all Emmerich planes, the workmanship is simply outstanding.
This intricate tool plows grooves and dadoes in six different widths. Large check nuts adjust and lock the left-side guide fence. The plane includes six irons in cut widths of 3mm (~1/8"), 5mm (~3/16"), 7mm (~9/32"), 9mm (~3/8"), 12mm (~1/2") and 14mm (~9/16"). Bed angle is 45°. Beechwood body with steel depth plane. Overall length is 9-1/2".
