Festool's Centrotec driver bits are precision milled to minimize runout. They offer standard 50mm (2") length and 100mm (4") for more reach. When mounted in a Festool drill using the Centrotec chuck , these driver bits seat tightly in the shaft of the drill (rather than in a chuck mounted to the drill) — ensuring a firm grip and a powerful wobble-free drive.
Centrotec bits can also be used in standard drill chucks and bit holders.
Festool Centrotec driver bits come in four common drives:
- Phillips
- Square – used in many applications including Kreg Pocket Hole Screws and Spax Multi-Purpose Screws
- Torx – used in specialty hardware and some automotive applications
- PoziDrive – used extensively in Europe, especially cabinet hardware (including some Ikea furniture).
