The OF 2200 EB Router  is Festool's production grade router with 3 HP it can easily router through hardwoods making 1/2 grooves in a single pass. Quickly attach and remove the components of the OF 2200 leverage actuated tool-less base system. Engage the double-column plunge locking mechanism with a single twist of the locking knob at your fingertips on the handle. Bit changes are quick and easy with open access to the single-tool ratcheting collet. The four position plunge stop turret aids in setting predefined plunge depths and has a 5/64" (2 mm) offset for finish passes with the router

Combine the OF 2200 Router with the OF 2200 Base Accessory Kit, Festool guide rail system, Festool dust extractors and a full complement of accessories and you will find yourself enjoying even the most tedious of tasks. With 2200 watts of power, blaze through any material or surface with ease.

Work smarter the the ergonomic 30° offset of the handles on the OF 2200 Router. Even with the size of the OF 2200 you will find it well-balanced and comfortable with all controls at your fingertips. The trigger actuated, spring loaded, retractable dust shroud maximizes dust collection while providing clear visibility of the workpiece. Find all controls, a variable speed dial to RPM cross reference and service information clearly labled right on the router offering intuitive operation.
