Incra Marking Rules
Incra's unique rules are equipped with a series of narrow slots and tiny holes that locate your .5mm mechanical pencil lead or the point of your scratch awl at exactly the measurement you choose. Your awl point can't skate around, and your pencil line will be straight and perpendicular to the rule. Since you can pin one end with the point of an awl, these rules make excellent beam compasses too, for marking curves of any radius you need.
Marking Rules , graduated in 16ths and 32nds, are flexible enough to snake under a clamp or conform easily to a curved surface. For metric or decimal inch users, there's a 10" Marking Rule using those scales.
T-Rules , in 6", 12" and 18" lengths with 1/16" and 1/32" grads and 1/64" marking holes, are 3" wide satin-finished stainless steel rules mounted on a track which serves as a precise end register. The rule can be used as a very convenient hook rule, as a T-square, as a precision scribe for marking lines parallel to an edge, or as a gauge for setting routers or saws using the vertical graduations along the free end.
Bend Rules , in 6", 12" and 18" lengths, have a 90° bend along their length so they'll fit along the square edge or end of a workpiece. The bend also makes these rules free-standing on flat surfaces. Slots in 1/16" increments across the corner as well as 1/32" holes at the edges let you mark your work for cross-cutting or joinery.
The 12" Centering Rule measures left and right equally from zero, making it easy to find the center of a workpiece or to position one piece centered on another.
Incra Rules are sold separately or in sets (T, Marking & Bend Rules) in 6", 12" and 18" lengths. Sets include a free .5mm mechanical pencil.
