Liberon Pure Tung Oil is a premium natural oil for woodfinishing. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It is highly resistant to water, alcohol, and food acids. It provides a hard wearing finish, suitable for surfaces such as tables. It contains no added dryers and it is important to allow appropriate drying times between coats and for final curing. Liberon Pure Tung Oil can be applied with a brush or lint-free cotton cloth and provides a long-lasting matte finish.

Application

Read the can for complete instructions. Liberon recommends four coats for the best finish. Porous woods may require additional coats. Allow each coat to penetrate for 20-30 minutes, then wipe off the excess with a clean cloth. Leave 24 hours between coats. For best, results, rub with 0000 steel wool between coats.

PRECAUTIONS
  • Pure Tung Oil is extracted from nuts and may cause an allergic reaction.
  • Do not leave finishing cloths in bundles. Lay cloths out to dry. Bundled cloths can spontaneously combust.
  • Always seal the can after use to prevent deterioration of the oil.
