Taper cuts on the table saw are among the most challenging and daunting in the shop. The Microdial Tapering Jig makes them simple and precise. With this jig, taper cuts are precise and repeatable without complicated calculations. Using the Colormatch system, you can set the angle of your taper with precision and easily repeat the cut later. The angle can be set either in degrees (from 0 to 10 degrees in increments down to 1/8 of a degree) or in rise-run (from 0 to 2 inches per foot in increments down to 1/16 inch per foot). If you need to match an existing angle but don't know the measurement, the Microdial Tapering Jigs also includes two adjustable stops that can be set to any angle.
The Microdial Tapering Jig fully integrates into the Micro Jig Safety system. You can mount one or two Grr-rippers on it for greater control and safety.
