Designed for use with oil-based paints, stains and clears. Purdy carefully blends Ox-Hair bristles with the right amount of natural white bristles for an extra soft brush that holds its shape. From fine artistry to staining furniture, doors or woodwork, nothing can match the glass-like finish produced by these bristles.

These premium brushes provide excellent performance for all your hand-applied finishing projects. Purdy's professional brushes are meticulously assembled from the finest bristle stock, blended for the right length and stiffness and carefully chiseled, shaped and finished. Each brush is nicely balanced, fitted with moisture-wicking alderwood handle, and packaged in a reclosable sheath to maintain its shape.

Ox Hair bristle is the softest, most supple natural fiber Purdy uses in their brushes. Ox Hair is made from the very finest White China bristles, dyed brown to distinguish its quality. These fine brushes are ideal for the smoothest possible finish in enamels, varnishes and lacquers.
