Rikon Air Cleaner Replacement Filters
Replacement filters for Rikon Air Cleaners. Please see the fit information below for the correct filter to fit your machine
Disposable Pre-filter
The Pre-Filter is the first filtering element in the air cleaner. This disposable filter should last 6 to 8 weeks when used regularly. The actual life of the filter will depend on the amount of dust created each day. It will last much longer for weekend woodworkers.
Bag Filter
The Bag Filter is the main filtering element of the air cleaner. It fits in the middle of the machine after the pre-filter. The large surface area of the cloth filtering bags allows fine filtration with maximum airflow. It should be regularly cleaned and vacuumed for best performance. It should last about 1-1/2 years in regular use. (Much longer for most home woodworkers.)
Activated Charcoal Filter
The charcoal filter is used in place of the pre-filter in the front of the air cleaner. It will will eliminate smoke, odors, and other fumes. The average life of this filter ranges from 2 to 4 months, when used regularly. The actual life of the filter will depend on the amount of smoke and fumes created each day. The filter comes sealed in plastic. Do not open the filter until you are ready to use it. Once unsealed it will start to absorb fumes from the air - reducing its life. You can extend the life of the filter by storing it in an airtight bag when not in use. The charcoal filter is only available in the 12" x 24" size.
Fit
The 12" x 24" x 1" filters fit Rikon Air Cleaner models 62-100, 61-200 & 61-750.
The 9-1/2" x 16-1/2" x 1-3/4" filters fit Rikon Air Cleaner models 62-400 & 62-450.
